Summer in the Wild - How to make a difference for Wildlife Conservation

Be An Eco-Hero and support Safari West Wildlife Foundation

Ready to be a HERO for the planet and wildlife?

We’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with We Save the World, a powerful Eco-Hero launch pad where anyone can take action to protect our planet’s future!

We Save the World empowers youth and others with unstoppable enthusiasm to restore Earth’s ecosystems. Their mission is to unleash the fundraising superpowers of young people to save nature. We Save the World’s goal is to donate $50 million to exceptional environmental non-profits by 2030 to support vital work. Many adults may not realize children hold potential and power to save the planet. Their passion and love for animals can make a huge difference, spurring their peers and adults close to them to action. We Save the World is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 public charity that aims to unleash the fundraising superpowers of young people to save Mother Nature. By harnessing children's curiosity and interest in animals and their admiration of superheroes, the Eco-Hero Launchpad allows children and teens to become nature's hero's themselves, helping raise funds for their favorite environmental causes.

The Safari West Wildlife Foundation is honored to join this movement alongside incredible conservation organizations, united in the mission to preserve our natural world.

Now it’s YOUR turn. Become an Eco-Hero today and help us save wildlife, wild places, and the planet we call home.

Poppy Bank supports Discover Africa - Classroom Conservation Education

We are deeply grateful to Poppy Bank for their generous sponsorship of Safari West Wildlife Foundation’s Discover Africa program this fall. Thanks to Poppy Bank's incredible support, the program is now 70% funded for Title 1 schools through December! This means more students than ever will have the chance to embark on an unforgettable journey—visiting Safari West, meeting wildlife up close, and bringing conservation learning and STEM projects back into their classrooms. Schools are already eagerly signing up for this semester’s adventure, and the excitement is contagious.

We’re searching for companies and/or individual sponsors who will help support a local title 1 school of choice or help supplement this program so we may continue planning into this Spring.  Will you help? Contact us for more details at jen@safariwestfoundation.org

“An Evening in the Serengeti”, September 27th at Safari West

We’re almost sold out for this year's annual fundraiser!  Many thanks to our extended community across the country for your continued support of our fundraising efforts to support our programs: Safari West LIVE, Discover Africa, and the Junior Keepers.  This year’s fundraiser is going to be extra special, starting with a trek to see the Giraffes and Rhinos with a chance to see new baby Southern White Rhinoceros "Ozzy", an entertaining and delicious dinner prepared by SoCo Paella, fun and games and of course an exciting live auction with Sonoma County Supervisor, James Gore – all supporting wildlife conservation education.  Don’t miss out on this opportunity to support your local community schools, teens and children in hospitals across the US!
